Your Kea trailer is wired in the factory to the International Specification for a 7 pin flat trailer plug. Kea use electrical cable that contains five coloured wires to control the primary light functions of your trailer. The two pins each side of the central earth pin are not used and control Auxiliary and Reverse functions.
If your connection plug or attached lead becomes damaged, your Kea trailer will arrive with at least 300mm of extra cable tucked inside the drawbar to facilitate any need to replace the plug or administer a damaged section of cable. Easing the cable past the grommet in the drawbar will also extend the length of cable you may need to connect to your tow vehicle.
