Here at Kea Trailers NZ Ltd, your privacy is of the upmost importance to us. This Privacy Statement explains what personal information we may collect from you, the purpose of collecting this information, how we will use and protect this information, and your rights of access to this information.

What we collect

  • contact information including, address, email address and phone numbers
  • other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and for the following reasons:

  • We may use the information to improve our products and services.
  • We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting, using the email address which you have provided.
  • From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, or mail.

We will potentially hold your personal information electronically and in hard copy form. We take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, modification, or unauthorised access, use and disclosure. These steps may include, but are not limited to, restricted access control for our website, computers and server and the use of security measures for computer system access.

We may be required, or authorised by law, to disclose your personal information. Such as an official order or mandate from the Courts or by Statute, or an order from a relevant regulatory agency. We may also disclose information to other parties where you have provided your consent for us to do so. We will ensure we will carry out the required due diligence to ensure that any personal information we disclose is accurate, up to date, complete, relevant, and not misleading, as per the obligations under the Privacy Act 2020.

We will not sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required to by law.

Once we no longer require your personal information for any of the purposes for which it was collected and subject to any legal obligations to retain information, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify your personal information.

Changes to this Policy

At our discretion, we may change our privacy policy to reflect updates to our business processes, current acceptable practices, or legislative or regulatory changes. If we decide to change this privacy policy, we will post the changes here at the same link by which you are accessing this privacy policy.

If required by law, we will get your permission or give you the opportunity to opt in to or opt out of, as applicable, any new uses of your personal information.
